Important notice to uPress customers due to the coronavirus

Nati Abargel,

Dear customers,

In these challenging days in which the entire world is dealing with the coronavirus and, as a result, with the enormous implications and the measures to fight it that they carry within them.

We are witnessing an increase of tens of percent in internet-based activity, first and foremost in business activity, an increase in activity and in the use of network resources, and in a variety of other areas resulting from staying at home and the shift to activity in the virtual world.

As a company that hosts tens of thousands of sites in Israel and around the world, and a variety of different systems, we understand our critical role in this situation in ensuring the business continuity that we are committed to providing to our customers, and we are prepared for it.

It is important to us to update you on uPress's preparedness for the challenging situation facing us all:

First, the health and safety of the company's employees is our top priority.
We take a variety of steps to ensure their well-being, and to ensure that we can provide maximum business continuity.

Among the steps we took – we physically separated the activity of different teams, setting up a secure environment that will enable remote work for all the company's employees, all without any harm to the functioning of the company's systems, the availability of customer support, and the ability of the company's network and cloud to cope with high loads and various threats.

In addition, we carry out continuous and meticulous monitoring of the company's hosting and communications systems. Our infrastructure is very stable and robust, yet we have significantly expanded the company's server array and also made very significant upgrades to our communication lines and connection speeds. All this in order to ensure maximum business continuity even in the event, heaven forbid, of a further deterioration in the situation.

The significant increase in network activity leads to extremely high traffic consumption among many of our customers, we understand the critical significance of this for our customers and the difficulty of coping with it, therefore We decided to remove the monthly traffic volume limits from all the plans of all our customers, all this for the next six months, until October 1, 2020, in the hope that it will not be needed afterwards.

On a personal note, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for your trust in us.
